About Us...

Adept was formed in 2004 with a group of people who had worked together at another telecoms company since the late 80's.  When that company was acquired by a larger company and subsequently moved in a different direction we branched out on our own.

What we offer is a single point of contact for voice and data communications including telephone systems; hosted voice over IP; mobile telephony and IT/cabling infrastructure along with various associated services.  You can pick and choose which products/services you use us for and we will work with your existing providers where required.

We are based in Surrey and primarily target London and the Home Counties.  That said we can support any location remotely and have reciprocal arrangements with industry contracts that we can use to provide on-site equipment maintenance backup throughout the UK.  Through Avaya's worldwide locations and connect programme we can extend this to over 100 countries worldwide.

Our project teams have a wealth of experience having been working together in telecoms for a long time - some since the late 80's.  This means from day one you have dedicated and experienced people you can contact directly as your ongoing points of contact backed up by well established manufacturers and the industry's leading service providers.  When you want something done there's no need for you to hang on waiting to speak to strangers, often part-time agency workers reading from a script in a call centre somewhere.

We work with tried and tested products that combine good value for money with excellent features and have a range of lines, mobile and broadband offerings that will keep your ongoing costs low.  We regularly review the market and offer the products we feel offer the best combination of value for money with advanced functionality and solid reliability.  At the moment the two manufacturers whose equipment we supply the most and are authorised to use are Avaya and NEC.

The Avaya connect programme in particular allows us access to Avaya's technical resources even as far as having Avaya carry out both installation and support on our behalf - to date we haven't needed that option as our people's experience with Avaya products actually pre-dates Avaya's formation as a company.  Our people first worked with what are now the Avaya Enterprise products when they were introduced to the UK in 1995 under the AT&T banner and the SME product in its original format since 1998 before it was bought by Avaya in 2002.

However, if you are an Enterprise sized company wondering whether an SME sized company can support you, you needn't worry - if preferred we can act as your conduit into Avaya direct who would install and support your installation.  So you get small company personal service backed up by big company resources.
