Avaya V6 launched
This sees the introduction of the IP500v2 unit along new style digital
and VoIP handsets plus combination analogue/digital/ISDN/VoIP cards that
significantly reduce the cost at smaller configurations (Feb/Mar 10).
NEC Univerge V3 launched
NEC have introduced a cut down version of the system - the 9.5" CPU package
(Oct 09).
Avaya V5 launched
This sees the release of the One-X browser based phone applications
providing functionality for thin client and Mac users running in Mac mode.
There are also now much simpler bundled offerings for mobile and home workers
which offer even better value for money than pre V5. There are also
several technical enhancements including support for 3rd party SIP devices such
as VoIP phones (Aug 09).
Avaya V4.2 launched
One of the key features of 4.2 is the mobility licence and the One-X
mobile client. With this users can have their calls simultaneously
presented to a mobile or off-site landline number. A call answered on the
mobile or landline can then be transferred back to someone else in the office
offering much greater flexibility for mobile/home workers (Aug 08).
Avaya IP500 and V4 launched
Avaya has now introduced a new version of software (which runs on the IP
400 406 V2) and a new hardware box the IP 500. Amongst other features this
release introduces SIP trunks that allow you to utilise lower cost IP
trunks/lines via broadband and are a key component of voice over IP (Apr 07).
NEC software updates
The latest updates (now up to 6.5)include 2 new features. Mobile extension allows
you to transfer a call to a mobile phone where the mobile user can now transfer the call back
to the office. Call deflection (a service that needs to enabled at the exchange) allows a direct dial call over ISDN to forward off site at the exchange without using up your ISDN line
connections to your system - ideal for sites with a low number of ISDN channels and mobile
workers. (Jan 07).
Adept takes Inter-tel into it's portfolio
We are now able to offer the Inter-tel 5000 and 7000 range of products as
addition to our portfolio. This is an addition to our Avaya range of products,
not a replacement. Further details to be announced on our website soon
as part of a complete re-design. (Sep 06).
Avaya launches 3.2 software
Avaya has now launched 3.2 with a completely new look and feel to the Manager
application making system administration easier. Please contact you account
manager for further information (Jul 06).
Adept now BT authorised
Although we have always worked informally with BT on behalf of our
clients we are now officially authorised to work with BT, this speeds up the
line ordering process and gives us access to BT's product range enabling us to
work closer with those of our clients that prefer using the UK's largest
carrier (Sep 05).
NEC XN120 now available
NEC launch the new XN120 digital system. From 2 - 88 extensions the
NEC ports are true hybrid ports auto sensing digital or analogue devices (Jul
05).
Avaya launch V3 for IP Office
The V3 platform is now available with key enhancements to the rendezvous
conferencing suite and the introduction of the 45 day try before you buy
